Fuel Gauge

The fuel gauge (A) displays approximate fuel level in tank.

Stop to refuel before fuel gauge needle reaches the empty mark. Never allow a diesel engine to run out of fuel. (See DIESEL FUEL in the Fuels, Lubricants and Coolants section.)

Fuel system will need to be bled and primed, should engine run out of fuel. (See BLEEDING FUEL SYSTEM in the Engine and Drive Train section.)
