Unloading Basket

causym CAUTION: To avoid serious injury or death to you or others, DO NOT unload basket if the following conditions exist:

  • Machine can come in contact with electrical wires.

  • Machine is on a slope.

  • Anyone can come in contact with basket conveyor.

  • Anyone is around machine.

1. Reduce engine speed to idle.

2. Disengage row units and fan.

3. Move machine into position.

4. Increase engine speed to fast throttle.

5. Press top of raise/lower basket and operate conveyors button (A) to raise basket and open basket door to desired position.

6. If necessary, use open/close basket door button (B) to change door height without changing basket height.

7. Press left-hand side of raise/lower basket and operate conveyors button (A) to activate door conveyor or press right-hand side of button to activate door and floor conveyor.

8. After unloading, press bottom of open/close basket button (B) to raise/close door. Press bottom of raise/lower basket and operate conveyors button (A) to lower basket.

9. Reduce engine speed.

10. Perform periodic basket service. (See EVERY BASKET UNLOAD in Lubrication and Maintenance section.)
