Every 250 Hours of Operation

NOTE: If using PLUS-50 ™ oil, service interval can be extended by 50 percent. EXAMPLE: 250 Hours extends to 375 Hours.

1. Remove plug (A) to drain crankcase oil. Replace crankcase drain plug.

2. Remove engine oil filter (B) and dispose of properly. Clean filter mounting pad, apply oil to gasket and install new element. Hand tighten only.

3. Fill crankcase with proper amount of engine oil. (See DIESEL ENGINE OIL in Fuels, Lubricants and Coolants section for oil specifications and MACHINE SPECIFICATIONS in Specifications section for oil capacity.)

4. Replace fuel filters (C and D). (See REPLACING FINAL FUEL FILTER and REPLACING PRIMARY FILTER/WATER SEPARATOR in Engine and Drivetrain section.)

5. Lubricate fitting (A) on each turnbuckle.

IMPORTANT: Costly engine damage can result from excessive servicing of air cleaner elements. Do not remove air cleaner elements between recommended service intervals unless air restriction indicator on overhead console comes on.

6. Replace primary and secondary air cleaner elements (A). (See REMOVING AND REPLACING AIR CLEANER ELEMENTS in Engine and Drivetrain section.)

7. Lubricate fittings on engine fan shaft (A) and fan shaft idler bearing (B).
