Prime Solution Pump

IMPORTANT: Damage to solution pump will occur if pump runs dry. If the fan must be run without solution in the tank, ALWAYS REMOVE pump drive belt. Anytime the moistener system tank is emptied, solution pump MUST be primed before attempting to operate moistener system. DO NOT allow pump to run dry.

Machine is equipped with a low solution level indicator. The indicator will light if solution level drops below minimal level. When indicator lights, tank MUST be refilled immediately to prevent pump damage. (See LOW MOISTENER SOLUTION LEVEL INDICATOR in Operator's Station section.)

NOTE: Moistener solution level (A) in tank must be above level of solution pump (B) for bleeding.

1. Fill solution tank. (See FILLING MOISTENER SYSTEM TANK in this section.)

2. Open top bleed valve (C).

3. Air is purged from pump when a steady stream flows, close valve.
