Suction Door or Duct Restriction

When a suction door plugs, corresponding unit on overhead console will light and a continuous alarm will sound.

If one or more door lights appear, move hydro lever to neutral and reduce engine speed to idle.

causym CAUTION: If you or others become entangled in moving parts of a unit, serious injury or death can result. To prevent injury, be sure machine is OFF, park brake switch is engaged, and key is removed to prevent injury.

Proceed as follows to remove restriction from suction door or duct:

1. Disengage row units and fan.

2. Place transmission and hydro lever in neutral.

3. Engage park brake switch.

4. Turn off engine and remove key.

5. Remove restriction from suction door or duct.

NOTE: Pay particular attention to wet conditions and cotton build-up around the contact point. This may cause the door lights to appear.

6. Clean off doffer monitor contact point and area where it attaches to post.
