Cleaning and Replacing 30 and 60 Micron Filter (If Equipped)

1. Turn off engine.

2. Open drain valve and rain fuel from bowl.

3. Loosen wing nuts (A) on lid (B) evenly.

4. Remove wing nuts and lid.

5. Remove spring cassette (C).

6. Lift out filter element (A) by handle.

7. Wash filter in clean diesel fuel or mineral spirits.

8. Inspect filter for damage. If damaged, replace with a new filter.

NOTE: If cover is removed, fill filter body with diesel fuel before installing cap.

9. Install filter element.

10. Install spring cassette.

11. Inspect lid gasket (B). Replace if necessary.

12. Align lid on filter assembly, install all four wing nuts and lightly tighten.

13. Tighten wing nuts in sequence as shown.

14. Prime fuel system.

15. Check for leaks.
