Adjusting Breakaway Section Springs

NOTE: Breakaway boom section does not return to alignment under spring pressure. Spring pressure from tensioned breakaway only assists in returning outer boom section to alignment.

Tighten nut (A) until there is 514 mm (20.25 in.) (B) from inside ends of hooks on spring (C).

Adjust bracket so there is 87.63 mm (3.45 in.) between brackets.
