Preparing Machine with 18.3 m (60 ft) Boom for Transport on Semi-Tractor Trailer

causym CAUTION: Suspension linkages can cause injury to you or others from movement when inflating or deflating air springs. Keep hands and body away from suspension linkage.

1. Empty solution tank and rinse tank.

2. Deflate front and rear suspension air springs (A).

3. Set wheels at 3048 mm (120 in.) tread setting.

4. Remove boom stop (A) from each boom to allow for fold into transport position.

5. Remove foam marker drop (A) (if equipped) from barbed fitting (B) on ends of each boom.

IMPORTANT: Damage to boom or handrails can occur when fold cylinders are adjusted to bring booms in all the way. Use caution when folding booms.

6. Loosen jam nut (A) out as far as possible on the fold cylinders located between center section and intermediate sections of boom.

7. Adjust collar (B) out against jam nut on each cylinder.

8. Tie outer boom assemblies to the intermediate boom sections at points (A) and (B).

9. Tie band booms to handrails.

10. Raise ladder (A) on right-hand side of machine and tie band in transport position.

11. Fold cab corner mirror in and place antenna in retainer (A) on cab roof.

12. Drive machine onto trailer or truck.

13. Raise ladder on left-hand side of machine and carefully get down from machine.
