Adjusting Double-Disk Outside Scrapers

Double-disk openers require a well-prepared loose seed bed. Attachments can be added to increase accuracy of planting depth.

1. Use outside scrapers (A) only when necessary to help disks clean.

2. Adjust scrapers to contour of disk with just enough tension to clean disks.

3. When not using the scrapers (A), rotate so end (B) slips into slot (C) for storage.
