CAUTION:
Be careful when using diesel fuel so that it does not ignite or serious injury or death to you or other can result. Use only in well-ventilated areas away from any sparks or flames.
IMPORTANT:
Do not allow diesel fuel (or any other petroleum product) to contact with the rubber tubes as it causes deterioration.
1.
Raise openers and remove lock-up straps (if used).
2.
Remove and install all parts stored inside the box.
3.
Turn feed shafts with a wrench or turn drive wheel to check that they turn freely. Work shifter back and forth.
4.
Make certain all seed tubes are free of obstructions. Install all seed tubes.

Install and adjust any chains removed. If a drive is not going to be used, leave that chain off.
6.
Check tires, inflate if necessary.
7.
Lubricate machine. See Lubrication and Maintenance.
8.
Review the Operating Instructions in this manual and make the settings necessary for the seed you want to drill.
9.
For row markers, if machine is stored with cylinder rod end extended, clean rod before retracting.
10.
Follow safe "attaching" steps outlined in the Attaching and Detaching section, then remove machine from storage.
