Setting Feed Shifter

NOTE: The seed rate charts are only approximate pounds per acre (kilograms per hectare). Set the shifter higher or lower. See CHECKING QUANTITIES DRILLED in Operating The Machine section.

NOTE: If box is full and shifter is on zero, turn feed shaft with a wrench while positioning lever.

Determine the proper shifter setting from the rate charts. Loosen wing nut (A) and move the shifter lever (B) one notch HIGHER than the desired setting, then bring the lever back to the correct setting, as shown on the index. Tighten wing nut.
