Remove Doffer Column

1. Remove cap screws (A).

2. Loosen nut (B).

3. Turn adjusting screw (A) counterclockwise until adjusting screw is fully raised off stub shaft.

4. Remove grease fitting (A) from lower bearing housing.

IMPORTANT: Do not loosen adjusting plate cap screws (B) or complete realignment will be required.

5. Remove three nuts and flange head cap crews (A).

6. Remove lower bearing housing.

7. Remove doffer column.
