Hydraulic/Hydrostatic and Transmission/Brake Oils

IMPORTANT: Failure to use oils meeting the following standards within the transmission and brakes could lead to glazing of brake friction disks and eventual transmission/brake damage.

Use oil viscosity based on the expected air temperature range during the period between oil changes.

The following oils are preferred:

• John Deere HY-GARD ™
• John Deere Low Viscosity HY-GARD ™

Other oils may be used if they meet one of the following:

• John Deere Standard JDM J20C
• John Deere Standard JDM J20D
