Operator Presence System
To enhance the safety of the operator, this machine is equipped with a passive operator presence system. The system will sense the presence of the operator in the seat whenever the row units are engaged or machine is moving. Should the operator leave the seat for more than 5 seconds, the operator presence system will immediately stop machine and the row units (if engaged). The engine will remain running. To resume operation, return to the seat and momentarily move the multifunction control handle (A) to the neutral position. |

CAUTION:
If the operator presence system fails to function correctly, the machine can stop or move unexpectedly causing serious injury or death to you or others. If the system ever fails to operate exactly as described above, see your John Deere dealer.
