Coolant Heater (If Equipped)
Before connecting heater to power source, be sure element is immersed in coolant. NEVER energize heater in air. Doing so can cause element sheath to burst causing personnel injury. The optional 1500-watt 110-volt coolant heater is installed in engine block. By warming engine coolant, the heater reduces oil drag, eases starting, and shortens warm up time. (See your John Deere dealer for the correct coolant heater for your machine.) |

CAUTION:
To avoid shock or hazardous operation, always use a three-wire heavy duty electrical cord equipped with three-wire connectors. If a two to three contact adapter is used at the wall receptacle, always connect green wire to a good ground.
