Replace Module Builder Belt

causym CAUTION: Do not stand directly in module builder during belt replacement. Always stand away from all moving parts and belts. Serious injury or death can occur to you or others. Always turn off machine before entering chamber.

3. Press D on tether and place gate in cradle.

4. Engage hydraulic lock valves (A) for both gate and handler.

5. Return to RMB Service Mode Screen home page.

7. Press A on tether to run module builder until lace on belt is approximately 450 mm (18 in.) behind rockshaft roller.

8. Press C on tether to raise rockshaft to relieve belt tension.

9. Remove place pin (A) on belt using pliers.

10. Remove staple on replacement belt roll and roll belt out back of machine on FLAT ground.

IMPORTANT: Replacement belt must be installed with tapered end FIRST and rivets facing DOWN.

11. Attach replacement belt to old belt with taper belt end (A), against old belt and rivet heads (B) are facing DOWN.

12. Install place pin through old belt and replacement belt.

IMPORTANT: Verify replacement belt tracks in correct location on rockshaft.

13. Press A on tether to run module builder and roll replacement belt into place. Guide old belt out back of machine and have an assistant pull old belt as it comes out of machine.

14. Press A on tether until replacement belt is around module builder and old belt is out.

15. Remove existing pin and attach both replacement belt ends using replacement pin. Discard old belt.

16. Press D on tether to lower rockshaft and tension belt.

17. Press A on tether to run replacement belt and verify proper belt tracking.

18. Disengage hydraulic lock valves.

19. Exit Service Belts Mode and enter RMB Service Mode.

20. Press C on tether to return module builder to closed position.

21. Place tether in storage position.
