After Ten Hours

1. Check drive wheel and power rear guide wheel lug bolt torques. Tighten to specification.

Specification

Drive Wheels -Lubricated Torque 610 N·m  (450 lb-ft)
Power Rear Axle Wheels -Lubricated Torque 610 N·m  (450 lb-ft)
Power Rear Center Disk to Waffle Rim -Torque 322 N·m (245 lb-ft)

2. If torque fails to stabilize after first ten hours, tighten to above values every ten hours. After torque stabilizes, tighten every 100 hours.

3. Tighten air system hose clamps (A) to specification.

Specification

3 in. Hose Clamp -Torque 5 N·m (45 lb-in.)
6 in. Hose Clamp -Torque 9 N·m (80 lb-in.)

4. Check module feed conveyor belt.

5. Check cotton fan drive belts tension. Adjust if necessary. (See Adjusting Cotton Fan Belt And Guides in Air System section.)

6. Inspect engine and fan compartment (A) for trash. Clean as necessary to prevent buildup.

7. Inspect finger grates (A) for bent or damaged fingers.

8. Inspect auger (B) for excessive play in spline connection.
