Starting Fan and Units
CAUTION:
If the machine should suddenly move forward or backward, serious injury or death to you or others can result. ALWAYS be sure no one is standing on or near the machine when operating.
IMPORTANT:
Unit input slip clutches will slip during cold temperature start-up. To avoid damage to clutch jaws during initial start-up, allow sufficient warm-up time with units engaged at idle throttle. Gradually increase engine speed until units can be run at fast throttle and full hydro without clutch slippage.
NOTE:
Engine must be at an idle for fans to engage.
1.
Push low engine speed button (A).
2.
Engage fan switch (C). Allow 3 seconds for fan to engage.
3.
Engage row units switch (D).
4.
Push high engine speed button (E).
5.
With park brake engaged, slowly advance multifunction control handle (B) to start units.
