Reacting to a Plugged Row Unit

When an obstruction enters a row unit, the drum clutch will slip causing a full screen warning on armrest display unit with a pictoral representation of plugged unit and the alarm to sound. When this happens:

1. Stop the machine immediately.

2. Disengage fan (C) and row units switch (D).

3. Raise the units partially.

4. Back machine up 1-2 M (3-6 ft.).

5. Place multifunction control handle (B) in neutral.

6. Push low engine speed button (A) to idle engine.

7. Engage park brake button.

8. Completely lower units to the ground or onto unit safety stops.

9. Shut off engine and remove key.

10. Inspect units and remove obstruction. (If obstruction can not be easily removed, see UNPLUGGING A ROW UNIT in this section.)
