Always remove ground cable (-) first and connect it last. Connect starter cables to positive (+) terminals of battery. Always connect battery ground cables to negative (-) terminals of battery. Reversed polarity in battery or alternator connections WILL result in permanent damage to electrical system. NOTE: Batteries must have the same terminal orientation to allow battery cables to reach. To connect batteries: 1. Turn off all electrical switches and accessories.2. Clean all battery posts and cable terminals. 3. Connect starter cables to positive (+) battery terminals (A). 4. Connect negative (-) battery ground cables (B). |
