Cold Weather Operation

IMPORTANT: Damage to hydrostatic pump can occur during extreme cold weather. When cold, hydrostatic transmission oil becomes thick. Oil MUST be warmed before moving machine. Failure to warm oil can result in machine damage. Warm the oil before moving the machine as follows:

1. Before starting machine, verify the following:

a. Multifunction control handle (A) is in neutral.

b. Fan switch (B) is off.

c. Row units switch (C) is off.

2. Start engine and operate at idle throttle for 4 minutes before moving machine.
