Every 250 Hours of Operation
NOTE:
If using Plus-50
oil, service interval can be extended by 50 percent. EXAMPLE: 250 Hours would extend to 375 Hours.
1.
Remove plug (A) to drain crankcase oil. Replace crankcase drain plug.
2.
Remove engine oil filter (B) and dispose of properly. Clean filter mounting pad, apply oil to gasket and install new element. Hand tighten only.
3.
Fill crankcase with proper amount of engine oil. (See DIESEL ENGINE OIL in Fuels, Lubricants, and Coolants section for oil specifications and MACHINE SPECIFICATIONS in Specifications section for oil capacity.)
NOTE:
Do not clean fuel strainer and change primary and secondary filters at the same time. Clean fuel strainer and run engine before changing primary and secondary fuel filters.
4.
Clean or replace fuel strainer. (See REPLACING/CLEANING FUEL SEDIMENT STRAINER in Engine and Drive Train Section.)
5.
Replace fuel filters (C and D). (See REPLACING PRIMARY AND SECONDARY FUEL FILTER ELEMENTS in Engine and Drivetrain section for proper procedure.)
