causym CAUTION: Wheel modules are heavy, awkward and can swing left or right and can cause serious injury to you or others. Always stay away from possible swing and pinch point areas while repairing tire.

Always be aware of area while working under machine. Wear close fitting clothing and safety equipment appropriate for job.

IMPORTANT: Proper lubrication will help avoid bearing and hub wear problems.

1. Start tractor, raise and block machine and tire.

2. Remove cap screw (A), lock nut and tire.

3. Carefully remove washers (B) and (C), seals (D), spacers (E), roller bearings (F), and hub assembly (I).

4. Inspect following parts for wear or damage:

  • (B) (C) (D) (E) (G) Worn or damaged washers, seals or spacer
  • (F) Loose bearing seals, worn or rough bearings
  • (A) (H) (J) Replace worn hardware
  • (I) Worn or broken hub assembly

5. Reassemble hardware in reverse order shown.

6. Pack seals with grease on both ends. (Refer to GREASE in Lubrication and Maintenance section for proper grease to use.)

7. Pack seals (D) and bearings (F) using grease on both ends.

8. Fill hub cavity on both ends with grease.

9. Tighten hub assembly to rim using bolts (H) to specification.

Specification

Hub Bolts -Torque 176 N·m (130 lb-ft)

10. Reinstall tire between yoke arms using cap screw and lock nut.

11. Tighten cap screw to specification.

Specification

Tire Yoke Arm Cap Screw -Torque 441 N·m (325 lb-ft)

12. Inflate tire to specification.

Specification

Tire 11L-15FI Load Range D -Pressure 414 kPa 4.14 bar (60 psi.)
