Detach Anhydrous Ammonia Tank

1. Position tank and machine DOWN WIND from where you are standing.

CAUTION: ALWAYS STAND UP WIND FROM ANY ANHYDROUS AMMONIA VAPOR. Exposure to anhydrous ammonia can cause serious injury or death to you or others. (See WORKING WITH ANHYDROUS AMMONIA in Safety section.)

3. Bleed trapped anhydrous ammonia by SLOWLY opening supply hose bleeder valve (A). Wait UP WIND until anhydrous ammonia vapor (B) has COMPLETELY dispersed.

CAUTION: Liquid anhydrous ammonia may still be present in hose. Point nozzle and bleed valve outlet away from body and towards ground down wind as hose is removed when disconnecting to avoid contact with liquid anhydrous ammonia. Exposure to anhydrous ammonia can cause serious injury or death to you or others.

CAUTION: Carrying supply hose by valve handle can lead to exposure to anhydrous ammonia and cause serious injury or death to you or others. Always hold supply hose away from valve.

4. Disconnect supply hose (A) and store on appropriate machine support (B) or nurse tank.

CAUTION: Verify tank is on level ground with wheels blocked before disconnecting. Runaway machines can cause serious injury or death to you or others.

6. Disconnect tank from machine rear hitch.
