CAUTION:
Read all information in the safety section before working with anhydrous ammonia systems. Exposure to anhydrous ammonia can cause serious injury or death to you or others.
CAUTION:
Keep all bystanders away from machine when folding or unfolding and when application system is being charged with anhydrous ammonia.
CAUTION:
Ammonia liquid and vapor can remain in hose after bleed procedure. Wear protective clothing and equipment and keep hose opening and bleed valve ports turned away from your body and bystanders.

1.
Complete all other in-field machine set up
BEFORE
preparing anhydrous ammonia system.
2.
Verify all hoses, fittings, mounting bolts, and cables are secure.
3.
Verify anhydrous ammonia controller is functioning properly and turn master switch OFF. (Refer to manufacturer's operation manual.)
4.
Open emergency shut-off valve completely.
5.
Close all bleed ports.
6.
Connect nurse tank securely to machine. (See ATTACH ANHYDROUS AMMONIA TANK in Attaching and Detaching section.)
