Detaching Machine From Tractor

causym CAUTION: To help prevent severe injury or death to you or someone else:

Keep all persons away from machine when raising and lowering wings.

Always locate machine on level ground when raising and lowering wings.

Never raise or lower wings when moving.

1. FOLD WINGS- Block machine wheels. With transmission in "PARK", start tractor engine and pull SCV I control lever (A) rearward to raise wings to stops.

2. RAISE HIGH SPEED FERTILIZER OPENERS- Pull SCV II control lever (A) rearward to fully raise openers.

3. CLOSE transport lock-up valve (A) 90° from valve.

causym CAUTION: When unhitching machine it can become unstable causing serious injury or death to you or others. To avoid injury, lower parking stands to ground and retain with pins BEFORE detaching.

4. Lower parking stands to ground and retain with pins (A).

5. Disconnect warning light plug from tractor outlet socket (A), and attach to machine storage receptacle.

causym CAUTION: Serious personal injury can result if you attempt to disconnect hydraulic hoses under pressure. Place SCV II tractor control lever in FLOAT position before disconnecting hoses to prevent a sudden accident.

IF WINGS ARE FOLDED: Before disconnecting wing-folding cylinder hydraulic hoses, relieve pressure from wing-fold hydraulic system and return SCV lever to neutral position.

6. Disconnect wing-fold and opener hoses from hydraulic couplers.

7. Raise both latch levers (A) with machine raised.

8. Lower machine to ground. Continue lowering quick coupler until hooks clear implement hitch pins.

9. Verify machine and parking stands are flat on ground.

10. Carefully drive tractor away from machine.

11. Place hose end fittings and wire harness connector in proper storage slots.
