Servicing Rear Caster Wheel Hub

1. Start tractor, raise and block machine and tire.

2. Remove cap screw (A) and spacer. Repeat process on other side.

3. Remove wheel bolts and remove hub. Retain wheel bolts.

IMPORTANT: Hub bearings are factory sealed.

4. See your John Deere dealer for hub service.

5. Tighten hub assembly to rim using existing bolts to specification.

Specification

Hub Bolts -Torque 352 N·m (260 lb-ft)

6. Reinstall tire between yoke arms using existing hardware.

7. Tighten cap screws to specification.

Specification

Tire Mounting Cap Screw -Torque 678 N·m (500 lb-ft)

8. Inflate tire to specification.
