Replace Anhydrous Ammonia Distribution Hoses

causym CAUTION: Exposure to anhydrous ammonia is harmful even after operation, cold spots will occur in lines. Once cold spots are exposed to air temperature, by removing hardware or hoses, vapor clouds can develop and can cause severe injury or death to you or others. Verify all lines are bled completely. (See BLEED ANHYDROUS AMMONIA SYSTEM in this section.) Wear protective clothing and equipment. (See WORKING WITH ANHYDROUS AMMONIA in Safety section.)

causym CAUTION: Hoses MUST BE COILED and retained in positions on wing frames LOWER THAN APPLICATOR KNIVES they supply to prevent liquid anhydrous ammonia from draining onto bystanders when wings are in folded position.

1. Inspect hoses for cracks, kinks, and damage daily before operation. Replace as needed.

2. Follow hose manufacturer and state regulations for service life.
