Attach Fertilizer Opener Hydraulic Cylinders

causym CAUTION: Fertilizer Openers (A) are heavy, awkward and can swing down causing serious injury or death to you or others. Support all openers with appropriate lifting equipment BEFORE removing strap (B).

1. Remove and discard strap (B) and hardware. Lower openers (A) to ground.

2. Repeat process on other straps.

causym CAUTION: Cylinders and hoses are charged, heavy and can cause serious injury. Use appropriate lifting equipment when installing. Do not kink or tightly bend hoses. Use a wood block under cylinder for support.

3. Remove strap from cylinder (shown removed).

4. Attach cylinder base end (A) to frame cylinder anchor (B) using 1 x 4.70 in. drilled pin (C) and 21/64 in. spring pins.

5. Attach cylinder rod end between rockshaft cylinder anchors (D) using 1 x 6.65 in. drilled pin and 21/64 in. spring pins.
