Adjust Closing Wheel Down Force

When properly adjusted, closing wheels (A) pinch the furrow closed.

Place closing wheel adjustment spring (B) in one-of-five positions (C-D), which best suits the soil type and closes furrow without compacting soil.

HEAVY DOWN FORCE (C)-Heavy or tight soil.

LIGHT DOWN FORCE (D)-Light, loose, or sandy soil.
