Remove cap screw (A), retainer (B), washer (C), and cap (D).

Remove cotter pin (E), castle nut (F), and washer (G).
4.
Remove spindle (J) and both bearings (H).
5.
Remove seal (I) from spindle. Inspect bearings and seal for excessive wear or damage. Replace as needed.
6.
Inspect bearing races (K) and seal liner (L) for excessive wear or damage. Replace as needed.
7.
Wipe old grease from spindle and spindle housing.
8.
Pack bearings with fresh grease.
9.
Install seal and bearing on spindle and install in housing. Pump cavity on opposite side half full of grease.
10.
Install other bearing (H) and washer (G).
11.
Tighten castle nut to specification then back nut off until the nearest hole in spindle aligns with groove in castle nut. Install new cotter pin in castle nut.
IMPORTANT:
Bevel (M) must face scraper.
12.
Install blade and tighten cap screws to specification.
