Adjusting 2-Bar Coil Tine Harrow With Rolling Baskets

There are four harrow adjustments for 2-bar coil tine with rolling baskets.

1. Spring Down Force
2. Rolling Basket Height
3. Rolling Basket Down Pressure
4. Coil Tine Angle Adjustment

1. Spring Down Force- For higher spring down force, set spring to position (A). by moving cap screw and spacer.

For lower spring down force, remove cap screw and spacer and install in hole (B).

2. Rolling Basket Height- To lower rolling basket height, pull pin (A) and turn nut (B) counterclockwise, then reinstall pin.

To raise rolling basket height turn nut clockwise, then reinstall pin.

Transport Clearance and Wet Conditions- For transport clearance and wet conditions pull pin and turn nut clockwise to raise baskets off ground.

3. Rolling Basket Down Pressure- For more down pressure, pull pin (A) and turn nut (B) counterclockwise, then reinstall pin.

For less down pressure turn nut clockwise.

Rolling Basket Spring Down Force

4. Trip Force- For higher trip force, loosen nuts (A) and turn nuts clockwise. Retighten nuts.

For lower trip force, loosen nuts and move towards front of machine.

IMPORTANT: When adjusting harrows, the L-pin (E) ONLY goes through two drawbar holes as shown.

5. Coil Tine Angle Adjustment-

Most Aggressive (A)- When L-pin is installed in rear hole, harrow is in the most aggressive position.

Aggressive (B)- When L-pin is installed in top hole, harrow is in the middle aggressive position.

Semi-Aggressive (C)- When L-pin is installed in front hole, harrow is in the semi-aggressive position.

Least Aggressive (D)- When L-pin is installed in front hole, harrow is in the least aggressive position.
