Detaching Machine From Tractor

causym CAUTION: To help prevent severe injury or death to you or someone else:

Keep all persons away from machine when raising and lowering wings.

Always locate machine on level ground when raising and lowering wings.

Never raise or lower wings when moving.

IMPORTANT: 5-SECTION MACHINES ONLY- 7-Pin plug MUST BE ATTACHED in order for wings to unfold and fold. WINGS WILL NOT UNFOLD without 7-pin plug attached. There must also be 12 volts from 7-plug at tractor in order for wings to unfold. (See TROUBLESHOOTING 5-SECTION MACHINE WING-FOLDING OPERATION in Troubleshooting Section.)

5-SECTION MACHINES ONLY- In order for wings to be folded and unfolded, set SCV II selector button flow control knob to fast (rabbit) position and verify tractor is running at 1800 rpm.

5-SECTION MACHINES WITH ROLLING BASKETS- Wings should NOT fold or unfold with rolling baskets raised. Folding or unfolding wings with rolling baskets raised will cause machine damage.

1. FOLD WINGS- Block machine wheels. With transmission in "PARK", start tractor engine and pull SCV II control lever (A) rearward to raise wings to stops.

2. RAISE MACHINE- Pull SCV I control lever (A) rearward to fully raise machine.

3. RAISE DISK GANGS- Pull SCV III control lever (B) rearward to fully raise disk gangs.

4. RAISE OPTIONAL ROLLING BASKETS- Pull SCV IV control lever rearward to fully raise rolling baskets.

5. Close transport lock-up valve (A) 90° from valve.

6. Remove jack (A) from transport position and pin on side of hitch.

7. Turn handle to remove weight from drawbar.

8. Disconnect warning light plug from tractor outlet socket (A), and place harness in storage receptacle (B) on machine support assembly.

causym CAUTION: Serious personal injury can result if you attempt to disconnect hydraulic hoses under pressure. Place SCV II tractor control lever in FLOAT position before disconnecting hoses to prevent a sudden accident.

9. IF WINGS ARE FOLDED: Before disconnecting folding cylinder hydraulic hoses, relieve pressure from wing fold hydraulic system and return SCV II to neutral position.

10. Disconnect wing fold, depth control hoses and disk gang hoses from hydraulic couplers.

IMPORTANT: TOUCHSET Depth Control wiring harness connections should only be made with tractor OFF. Connecting TOUCHSET Depth Control with tractor ON may result in tractor error code.

11. Disconnect TOUCHSET Depth Control wiring harness (A) from connector (if equipped).

12. Remove safety chain (A) from tractor.

13. Verify wheel blocks are in place. Remove hitch pin (A) from drawbar. Drive tractor away from machine.

14. Ensure hoses are routed through U-bolt (A) on machine support assembly (B) and place hose end fittings in storage slots.
