Bleed Optional Rolling Basket Hydraulic Cylinders
CAUTION:
Escaping fluid under pressure can penetrate skin causing serious injury. Avoid hazard by relieving pressure before disconnecting hydraulic lines. Tighten all connections before applying pressure. Search for leaks with a piece of cardboard. Protect hands and body from high pressure fluids.
If an accident occurs, see a doctor immediately. Any fluid injected in skin must be surgically removed within a few hours or gangrene may result. Doctors unfamiliar with this type of injury should reference a knowledgeable medical source. Such information is available from Deere & Company Medical Department in Moline, Illinois, U.S.A.
Conditioners and standards are heavy and can drop unexpectedly causing serious injury or death to you or others. Hydraulic system must be bled as described.
NOTE:
Cylinders are filled with hydraulic fluid to prevent corrosion during shipping. Fluid may flow from breather.
1.
Slowly extend and retract rolling basket cylinders completely at least twice, maintaining hydraulic pressure at full extension for at least 30 seconds. Extend cylinders one more time, maintaining pressure at full extension for one minute. This allows all air to escape from cylinders.
IMPORTANT:
Watch closely to make sure hoses do not pinch or bind, especially at hinges. Move rolling baskets and down until action is smooth.
2.
