Checking Wheel Bolts and Bearings

Check tightness of all wheel bolts (A), and wheel bearings to specified torque during first week of operation, and periodically after that.

Specification

To adjust wheel bearing, remove hub cap (B) and cotter pin. Raise and turn wheel. Tighten nut until there is a slight drag on bearing; back off to first hole and insert cotter pin. Replace hub cap.
