Bleed Depth and Gang Control Hydraulic Systems

IMPORTANT: Follow bleed procedure EXACTLY as shown. Hydraulic reservoir MUST be filled prior to bleeding and kept FULL throughout entire bleed procedure.

IMPORTANT: If performing bleed procedure on machines running different than 1800 rpm, bleed rate times MUST be adjusted to a 113 Lpm (30 gpm) per minute rate. Example: If tractor is running at 57 Lpm (15 gpm), then double all bleed times.

causym CAUTION: Insure cylinders are supported firmly with wood block before bleeding cylinders. Wire could also be used to retain wheel module cylinders. Failure to do this may result in cylinder falling and causing serious injury to you or others.

1. Verify tractor is full of hydraulic oil.

2. Remove pins from rod end. Make sure cylinders are properly supported.

3. Run tractor to 1800 rpm.

4. Fully extend and retract all cylinders at least two times, maintaining hydraulic pressure at full extension for at least 30 seconds.

5. Extend cylinders one more time, maintaining pressure at full extension for one minute.

IMPORTANT: If an oil leak is found during bleed procedure, stop oil leak then restart procedure.

6. Extend cylinders and keep in continuous flow for 2 minutes.

This completes bleed procedure.
