Adjusting Sweep Pitch Angle on Conventional Sweeps

NOTE: Do not use shims with PERMA-LOC or TRU-WIDTH ™ sweeps. These sweeps have the correct crown aggressiveness for the machine.

Shim changes pitch angle of sweep for better penetration in hard ground.

1. Loosen plow bolts on sweep.

2. Slide shim (A) between sweep and shank.

3. Tighten plow bolts.
