Attaching Warning Light Plug

CAUTION: When transporting machine on a road or highway at night or during day, use warning lights and devices for adequate warning to operators of other vehicles. In this regard, check local governmental regulations. Various safety lights and devices are available from your John Deere dealer.

IMPORTANT: In order for wings to be folded and unfolded, the 7-pin connector warning light plug (A), including a safety valve circuit MUST BE CONNECTED TO TRACTOR. Also 7-pin (C) from tractor MUST have 12 volts power to activate safety valve circuit. If 7-pin safety valve connector is not connected or 7-pin from tractor does not have 12 volt power, wings will not fold or unfold. (See TROUBLESHOOTING WING FOLDING OPERATION in Troubleshooting Section.)

1. Attach warning light plug (A) to tractor outlet socket.

2. To obtain maximum warning, be sure warning lights, reflectors and SMV emblem are clean.
