causym CAUTION: When removing rolling baskets, use suitable lifting devices to prevent serious injury or death to you or others. Block rolling basket to prevent rolling.

IMPORTANT: Proper lubrication will help avoid bearing wear problems.

1. Remove U-bolts and remove supports (J).

2. Remove supports and bearing hardware (H) from rolling basket (K).

3. Carefully remove bearing assemblies.

4. Inspect following parts for wear or damage:

  • (A ) Bent bearing cap screws.
  • (D) Worn or rough bearing housings.
  • (F) Loose bearing seals, worn or rough bearings.
  • (G) Torn or grease saturated gaskets.

5. Replace all worn, rough or broken parts.

IMPORTANT: Before assembly, wire brush rolling basket end caps and bearing housings to remove all dirt, grit, or rust.

6. Assemble rolling basket in reverse order removed.

7. Lubricate bearings. (See LUBRICATE ROLLING BASKET BEARINGS in Lubrication and Maintenance section.)
