causym CAUTION: Disk gang assemblies are heavy and awkward to handle and can cause serious injury to you or others if not properly attached to machine. Use suitable lifting device and proper chains when installing.

NOTE: Bearings inserts (D) can be replaced without lowering rockshaft completely down. Replace bearing inserts one set at a time, then go to other side.

To replace maintenance free bearings, do following:

1. Support rockshaft (A) and loosen cap screws and nuts (B) on all bearing castings (C).

2. Remove cap screws and nuts on one bearing casting set. Retain hardware. Remove and discard bearing inserts (D).

3. Insert new bearing inserts (A) in castings (B).

causym CAUTION: Gang assembly is heavy and awkward to handle and can cause serious injury to you or others. Use appropriate lifting equipment while installing on machine.

4. Replace bearing casting around rockshaft using existing hardware. Bearings MUST BE AGAINST STOPS (A) . Hand tighten hardware.

5. Repeat process on other bearings.

6. Tighten all cap screws to specification.

Disk Gang Rockshaft Bearing Cap Screws -Torque 237 N·m (175 lb-ft)
