Operate Foam Marker System

  1. NOTE: Use John Deere foam concentrate for best results.

    Shake foam concentrate well before adding to tank. Store concentrate in a warm place, where it will not be frozen.

    A - Cap

    Remove cap (A) and fill foam concentrate tank with foam concentrate.



  2. Fill rinse tank with clean water. (See Filling Rinse Tank Using Left-Hand Rinse Fill in Wet System section for procedure.)

    Select the Setup softkey (A) to view the setup menu.



  4. Select the Spray Setup tab (B).

  5. Select drop-down box (C) next to “Foam Marker” and the following options will be available:

    • “OFF”
    • “AUTO”
    • “MANUAL”

  6. Select “MANUAL”.

    A - Air Pressure Regulator

    Start engine and adjust air pressure regulator (A) on the top of foamer control box to no more than 103 kPa (1 bar) (15 psi).



  8. Remove foamer box cover.

    A - Water Inlet Control Valve

    B - Foam Concentrate Inlet Control Valve

    C - Priming Valve

    Adjust water inlet control valve (A) and foam concentrate inlet control valve (B) to the suggested starting positions in the following table.

  10. Open priming valve (C) to prime pump. Close valve when pump has primed.

    A - Foam Marker Control Switch

    Press foam marker control switch (A) to “LEFT” position.

    NOTE: In approximately two minutes, foam should generate out of left-hand collector.



  12. Press foam marker control switch (A) to “RIGHT” position.
