Install Optional Tires

CAUTION: Sprayer with boom weighs approximately 7,931 kg (17485 lb). To avoid injury or death to you or others, lift and support an empty machine only. Lift machine using an overhead hoist at proper location or using a 4,082 kg (4-1/2 ton) jack and appropriate lift bracket. Do not apply jack pressure at any other location on axle. Lift only one wheel at a time. Always support machine with a suitable shop stand.

A - Decals

1. NOTE: Install optional tires with air pressure and lug nut torque decals (A) to outside of machine.

   Install tires to machine.

2. IMPORTANT: Damage to planetary hub and wheel can occur if the correct lug nut torque is not maintained. Tighten wheel lug nuts in a crisscross pattern to specification. Tighten wheel lug nuts after first 1 hour of use and every 10 hours thereafter until correct torque is maintained. Check wheel lug nuts torque after every 100 hours of use.

   Install wheel lug nuts and tighten in a crisscross pattern to specification.

3. Inflate tires to specification. (See Checking Tire Pressure in this section.)

4. Operate machine for one hour and tighten wheel lug nuts.

5. Tighten wheel lug nuts after every 10 hours of use until correct torque is maintained.

6. Check wheel lug nuts torque after every 100 hours of use.
