Symptom	Problem	Solution
Suspension system gives a rough ride.	Tire inflation incorrectly set.	Check tire inflation (see Checking Tire Pressure in the Chassis section).
	Pressure in air springs not correctly set.	Correctly set pressure in air springs (see Adjusting Front And Rear Suspension Assemblies in the Chassis section.)
	Proper greasing intervals have not been followed or wrong type of lubrication has been used.	Follow correct lubrication intervals and lubrication procedures (see Lubrication And Maintenance section).
	Suspension rod bushings worn.	Replace bushings.
	Suspension rod hardware loose.	Tighten hardware.

Excessive grease leakage on the suspension.

Over greased.

Lubricate correctly. (See Lubricate Suspension Assemblies—Daily in the Lubrication And Maintenance section.)

Excessive play in suspension or steering components.	Suspension rod bushings worn.	Replace bushings.
	Main suspension spindles or bushings are worn.	See your John Deere dealer.
	Suspension rod hardware loose.	Tighten hardware.

Excessive movement of the entire suspension assembly relative to the mainframe.

Loose tread adjust shims.

Properly adjust thread adjust shims.

Auto Air Bag valve leaks air continually.

Elbow installed incorrectly pushing valve stem into constant “ON” position.

Screw elbow out so three threads are showing.

One air bag lower for Auto Air system.	Bracket is not adjusted correctly.	Adjust bracket to match other air bags.
	Suspension rod bushings worn.	Replace bushings.
	Suspension rod hardware loose.	Tighten hardware.
