Change Cab Air Filters

CAUTION: The use of activated carbon filters in the air ventilation system of the operator’s cab does not protect against damage to your health caused by toxic chemicals. Prior to working with chemicals, review and comply with the warning and handling instructions of the manufacturer for the chemicals used and take the recommended actions to protect yourself and the environment against damage.

Chemicals must be stored and transported only in properly closed containers that are specified for the purpose. Do not store or transport these containers inside the operator’s cab. For detailed instructions, refer to the documentation provided by the manufacturer.

IMPORTANT: Activated carbon filters must be replaced after 250 operating hours or after one year (whichever comes first). Heavy-duty operation may require shorter service intervals. Therefore, check the condition of the filter elements regularly. Activated carbon filters must NOT be cleaned (e.g. with compressed air), instead they must be replaced by new filter elements immediately when the filtering effect decreases.

Dispose of used filters in accordance with regional regulations.
