Priming Solution Pump with Rinse Tank to Fill When Nurse Tank Fluid Level Even or Below Sprayer Pump

NOTE: Sprayer pump may not pull solution into solution tank if fluid level in nurse tank is below solution pump on machine.

   A - Rinse Tank Fill Valve

   B - Solution Pump Switch

   Fill rinse tank with clean water using rinse tank fill valve (A). (See Filling Rinse Tank Using Left-Hand Rinse Fill in this section.)

2. Operate engine at low idle.

3. Turn off solution pump switch (B).

4. CAUTION: Quik-Fill valve (A) can contain hazardous materials which can poison causing serious injury or death to you or others. Before removing Quik-Fill cap (B), make sure Quik-Fill valve is turned off.

   E - Remote Solution Pump Switch

   Verify Quik-Fill valve is closed.

5. Open lock levers and remove cap (B).

6. Connect nurse tank fill hose to Quik-Fill adapter and close lock levers.

7. Turn suction valve (C) to “RINSE” position momentarily to prime pump.

8. Turn pressure bypass/rinse valve (D) to “BYPASS” position.

9. Move remote solution pump switch (E) to “LOAD” position.

   NOTE: When using remote solution pump switch (F), pump is designed to come up to operating speed slowly. Engine speed will automatically increase to 1800 rpm.

10. Open Quik-Fill valve.

11. Draw water from rinse tank for approximately 5 to 10 seconds.

12. With solution pump running, turn suction valve to “Closed” (straight up) position.

13. IMPORTANT: Failure to perform the following steps in order can create pressure spikes in the solution system that may cause pressure transducer failure and other component damage.

    After solution tank has filled, close Quik-Fill valve (A).

14. Move remote solution pump switch (B) to “SPRAY” position.

15. Turn pressure bypass/rinse valve (C) to “SPRAY” position.

16. Turn suction valve (D) to “SOLUTION TANK” position.

17. Remove fill hose from Quik-Fill adapter and replace cap (E).
