Filling Solution Tank with Nurse Tank Pump

  1. CAUTION: Read carefully the directions printed on the chemical manufacturer’s labels before handling chemicals or you may be exposed to hazardous materials which could poison and injure you.

    IMPORTANT: Do not add chemical to solution tank until just before field use. Follow the chemical manufacturer’s instructions for mixing the spray solution to obtain the desired application rate and effect.

    CAUTION: Quik-Fill valve (A) can contain hazardous materials which can poison causing serious injury or death to you or others. Before removing Quik-Fill cap (B), verify Quik-Fill valve is turned off.

    A - Quik-Fill Valve

    B - Cap

    C - Pressure Bypass/Rinse Valve

    D - Suction Valve

    Verify Quik-Fill valve is closed.



  2. Open lock levers and remove cap (B).

  3. Connect nurse tank fill hose to Quik-Fill adapter and close lock levers.

  4. Turn pressure bypass/rinse valve (C) to “SPRAY” position.

  5. Turn suction valve (D) to “SOLUTION TANK” position.

    A - Boom Shut-Off Valve

    Close boom shut-off valve (A) when filling sprayer using nurse system pump to avoid air being forced into boom.



  7. Turn on nurse tank pump and open Quik-Fill valve.

  8. After solution tank has filled, close Quik-Fill valve.

  9. Turn off nurse tank pump.

  10. Remove fill hose from Quik-Fill adapter and replace cap.

  11. Open boom shut-off valve.
