Fill Solution Tank with Nurse Tank Pump and Sprayer Pump Through Eductor

1. CAUTION: Read carefully the directions printed on the chemical manufacturer’s labels before handling chemicals or you may be exposed to hazardous materials which could poison and injure you.

   IMPORTANT: Do not add chemical to solution tank until just before field use. Follow the chemical manufacturer’s instructions for mixing the spray solution to obtain the desired application rate and effect.

   A - Solution Pump Switch

   Operate engine at 1800 rpm.

2. Turn off solution pump switch (A) in cab side console.

3. CAUTION: Quik-Fill valve (A) can contain hazardous materials which can poison causing serious injury or death to you or others. Before removing Quik-Fill cap (B), verify Quik-Fill valve is turned off.

   D - Suction Valve

   Verify Quik-Fill valve is closed.

4. Open lock levers and remove cap (B).

5. Connect nurse tank fill hose to Quik-Fill adapter and close lock levers.

6. Turn pressure bypass/rinse valve (C) to “SPRAY” position.

7. Turn suction valve (D) to “SOLUTION TANK” position.

   A - Boom Shut-Off Valve

   Close boom shut-off valve (A) when filling sprayer using nurse system pump to avoid air being forced into boom.

9. Turn on nurse tank pump and open Quik-Fill valve.

10. Move remote solution pump switch to “LOAD” position and add approximately 379 L (100 gal) water.

    NOTE: When using remote solution pump switch, pump is designed to come up to operating speed slowly. Engine speed will automatically increase to 1800 rpm.

    Slightly raise eductor and pull handle (A) to unlatch eductor.

12. Lower eductor and raise lid.

13. NOTE: The eductor flow rate valve (A) is a variable rate valve that controls the flow rate of the eductor. The closer to the “MAX” setting, the greater the suction created for the eductor.

    Turn eductor flow rate valve (A) to full “MAX” position.

    C - Rinse Nozzle

    Open eductor hopper valve (A) (handle parallel with solution hose) to allow chemicals to be drawn from eductor hopper.

15. Pour chemicals into eductor.

16. Open eductor rinse valve (B) (turn clockwise) to rinse eductor hopper.

17. Place chemical container over rinse nozzle (C) in tank and push down on container to rinse.

18. Close eductor rinse valve.

    After verifying eductor is empty, close eductor flow rate valve (A).

20. Close eductor hopper valve (B).

21. Close eductor rinse valve.

22. Turn remote solution pump switch to “SPRAY” position.

23. Place lid back on tank and return eductor back to its original position.

24. After solution tank has filled, close Quik-Fill valve.

25. Turn off nurse tank pump.

26. Remove fill hose from Quik-Fill adapter and replace cap.

27. Open boom shut-off valve.
