NOTE: With solution tank filled and solution pump primed, complete the following steps to thoroughly mix chemicals.

N81773-UN-15JAN09
A - Suction Valve
B - Pressure Bypass/Rinse Valve
Turn suction valve (A) to “SOLUTION TANK” position.
Turn pressure bypass/rinse valve (B) to “SPRAY” position.
NOTE: Amount of agitation is determined by how far agitation shut-off valve (A) is open and where the spray off pressure is set.
Valve is fully open when handle is parallel to hose.

A - Agitation Flow Rate Valve
B - Input From Solution Pump
C - Output From Nozzle
Open agitation flow rate valve (A) (located near solution pump) to desired setting.
Enter desired agitation pressure as spray off pressure in SprayStar. (See Setting Spray Off Pressure in SprayStar System section.)
NOTE: Table illustrates flow rate (gpm) at desired spray off pressure when agitation control valve is fully open.
Input (B) is the amount of solution coming from solution pump.
Venturi in nozzle pulls chemical to nozzle. Output (C) is a combination of the input from the solution pump and what is drawn in from the venturi.

N82352-UN-15JAN09
A - Solution Pump Switch
B - Agitation Switch
Push solution pump switch (A) forward to engage solution pump.
Push agitation switch (B) forward to open electric agitation valve (if equipped).
Mix solution thoroughly before operating in the field.
NOTE: When not spraying, agitation pressure will be the same as spray off pressure entered into SprayStar. To increase agitation, increase spray off pressure setting. Reset spray off pressure (if changed) before spraying in the field.
To minimize foaming, decrease agitation rate.
Turn off agitation when tank volume drops below 378.5 L (100 gal) to prevent foaming and air in system.
