Change Engine Oil and Filter—250 Hours

IMPORTANT: Sulfur content should not exceed 0.10 %. Sulfur content less than 0.10 % is preferred. Refer to Fuel, Lubricants and Coolant section for more information on oil change intervals.

    A - Crankcase Drain Plug

    B - Filter Element

    C - Oil Fill Neck

    Operate engine to warm oil. Stop engine. Remove crankcase drain plug (A). Replace plug after oil drains out.



  2. Remove filter (B) and clean filter mounting surface. Apply a thin film of oil to replacement filter and install. Hand-tighten filter element. Do not overtighten.

  3. Fill crankcase with seasonal viscosity grade oil through oil fill neck (C). (See Diesel Engine Oil in the Fuels, Lubricants and Coolants section.)1

  4. Start engine and check for leaks.

  5. Stop engine. Check oil level.
