Cleaning Air Cleaner Element

Pat sides of element (A) gently to loosen dirt. Do not tap element against a hard surface.

Using a John Deere AR62377 Dry Element Cleaner Gun (B), clean element with compressed air . Hold nozzle next to inner surface, and move up and down pleats.

CAUTION: Reduce compressed air to less than 207 kPa (2.1 bar) (30 psi) when using for cleaning purposes. Clear area of bystanders, guard against flying chips, and wear personal protection equipment including eye protection.

IMPORTANT: Do not direct air against outside of element, as it might force dirt through to inside.

Repeat steps to remove additional dirt.

Inspect element before installing.
